Announcement
Like the Mole in The Wind in the Willows, the scent in the air beckoned me beyond the parameters of the Etsy Hedgerow...what? that's right, I'm pondering my last gasp on Etsy. If you've hankered for a little glass oddity or strange glass happenstance from my cupboard of curious and whimsical hyperbole...time's a wasting--step right up, eh? don't be surprised if the shop goes into hibernation without warning.
Just in case you were wondering, don't forget...almost everyone enjoys a surprise package in the mail after the so called Holidays....off set everydayness® - Celebrate every day!! And every day? is one day closer to: It's almost Christmas! Or, avoid last-minute-hassle™...buy now for next Christmas! what? that's right...NOW!
Thoughts, concepts, childhood memories and/or dream sequences people want realized in stained glass, result in a stimulating and often other-worldly process that bring mysterious and satisfying results.
I enjoy a natural patina as metals begin to oxidize in the scheme of things...silver solder lines and copper rods for leaf stems develop a lovely patina over time. In light, the pieces will present a dark solder line (I don't apply acid to the metals unless requested...an additional $25 will be required for that process) and copper stems will appear dark with natural light. At night, the ambient light from indoors will give a different view, reflecting off the various metals.
About shipping...jewelry and select item listings include USPS First Class, and everything else ships USPS Priority. 2013 ushered in the hugest increases in USPS First Class International and Priority International. If you don't mind the longer shipping time with First Class International (and sometimes there's no difference), I can make a listing for you with specific shipping for your destination. Give me a holler, and I'll make it happen.
If you're wondering what it's all about (or want to know how to make Yorkshire pudding), drop me a line to begin a so-called writty dialogue for your own unique idea forming in your head...

5 out of 5 starsI have been eyeing this honeybee for quite some time, and waiting for the right time to buy it. And here I am…proud owner of my coveted sun-catcher. Period. This honeybee sun-catcher is absolutely fantastic. His description was spot on, and is exactly what I wanted. Brian is a genius using reclaimed glass. The wings and the body segment curve so delicately. It has a real dimensional quality. Shipping was wonderful. No complaints here.
